Technical Information
Sound
House sound is controlled by a Soundcraft Spirit mixer with a media player in a portable rack. Bose speakers are mounted either side of the stage, designed for speech and suitable for presentations. A Sennheiser infra-red amplification system is available for the hearing impaired.
Lighting
The ballroom house lighting is from chandeliers, each of three circuits – white, yellow and red – with dimmer control. A small rig of stage lighting is suspended over the main dance floor and controlled by a Zero 88 FLX lighting desk connected to Pulsar dimmers.
Stage
The concert platform stage is 11.26m wide x 5m deep, and 0.56m high. The stage can be modified and extended for an extra charge using steel-deck staging blocks. There is no provision for rigging in the ballroom.
