West End magic, seasonal panto, and comedy heavyweights head to stage

Tickle your funny bone this autumn at a jam-packed programme of laugh-out-loud performances hitting the stage at Bournemouth Pavilion.

Kicking off the season is Joanne McNally’s Pinotphile (Sunday 14 September 2025). After the success of her record-breaking tour, The Prosecco Express, McNally returns with her hotly anticipated new stand-up show, navigating situationships, revenge, frenemies, and rejection.

Josh Widdicombe returns with his new tour, Not My Cup Of Tea (Sunday 28 September 2025), reflecting on his 15-year career and Parenting Hell podcast, co-hosted with Rob Beckett. Proclaimed to be shorter (and with lower production values) than Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, this stand-up performance is not to be missed!

Bournemouth Pavilion also welcomes stand-up legend Jimeoin for his brilliantly funny new tour, Pandemonium (Saturday 11 October 2025). A hilarious evening with one of live comedy’s universally acclaimed masters, Jimeoin’s cheeky no-gimmicks sense of humour, superb material, and broad appeal keep audiences in stitches across the globe.

Fresh from a sold-out West End season, Fawlty Towers: The Play (Tuesday 14 – Saturday 18 October 2025) brings its laugh-out-loud stage production to Bournemouth Pavilion, promising chaos, comedy, and calamity at every turn. Universally acclaimed by every London and national critic, this is a staycation you’ll never forget!

After the huge international success of Dara Ó Briain’s last tour, So, Where Were We?, which sold out 173 venues across 20 countries and was named UK Comedy Tour of the Year 2023 (Chortle), Dara’s new show ‘Re:Creation’ (Saturday 22 November 2025) sees one of Ireland’s finest live comedians back doing his favourite thing: standing in a theatre, telling stories and creating madness with the audience.

Plus, don’t miss the hilarious Noel Brodie, Jamie Morris, and Tarot Joseph in Cinderella (Saturday 6 December 2025 – Sunday 4 January 2026), this year’s seasonal panto at Bournemouth Pavilion. Starring Melanie Walters (Gavin & Stacey) and Olivia Birchenough (Channel 5’s Milkshake!), whether it’s your annual festive outing or your child’s first theatre memory, this Cinderella promises laughter, wonder, and gasp-out-loud spectacle at every turn.

Last but not least! Discover Bournemouth’s talented and hilarious comedic up-and-comers with Bournemouth Pavilion’s monthly LOL Comedy Club (Saturday 6 September 2025, Friday 3 October 2025, Friday 7 November 2025). Bringing the best in live stand-up to Bournemouth, every show comprises a different lineup of four professional comedians – all as equally as hilarious.

Bournemouth Pavilion is owned by BCP Council and operated in partnership with registered charity and social enterprise BH Live.

On behalf of BH Live, Steve Turner, Director of Venues shared;

“We’re thrilled to welcome such an incredible lineup of comedy talent to Bournemouth Pavilion this autumn. From internationally acclaimed stand-up stars to iconic stage shows, there’s something to make everyone laugh. It’s a fantastic opportunity for audiences across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole to enjoy fantastic live entertainment right on their doorstep.”

Last year, Bournemouth Pavilion celebrated 95 years of delivering entertainment and culture to the local community.

Valued for its cultural, architectural, and historic importance, Bournemouth Pavilion welcomes thousands of visitors every week, bringing more footfall to businesses such as hotels, bars, and restaurants to boost the local economy and provide year-round culture.

The venue hosts a year-round diverse programme of events and entertainment such as musicals, opera, ballet, pantomime, comedy, dances and fashion shows. Gala dinners, banquets, receptions, fairs, corporate presentations, product launches, conferences and exhibitions also feature.

Events such as tea dances, free-to-attend open days, and community performances are held regularly to invite visitors to learn more about the venue’s importance to the BCP region.

The theatre is also home to the Compton Organ, one of the few remaining instruments of the 550 initially installed in churches, cinemas, theatres & concert halls between 1926 and 1939. Compton Organ shows are held throughout the year in partnership with the Pavilion Organ Fund to continue to raise funds for the organ’s maintenance and restoration.
