We’re collecting chocolate eggs for local children!

In 2022, thanks to the generosity of customers, teams across BH Live Active’s leisure centres collected hundreds of chocolate eggs for life-limited and life-threatened children in across Dorset and Hampshire.

This year the team at BH Live are once more collecting chocolate eggs for children at Julia’s House, Naomi House and Jacksplace; unanimously chosen by the team from BH Live who were keen to support the work the charities do for local children and their families.Supporting BH Live’s mission as a social enterprise and registered charity to enrich the lives of people in its communities. Rob Cunningham, BH Live’s Associate Director for Leisure said

“A huge thanks to all customers and the team at BH Live who joined last year us in collecting an enormous amount of eggs. Julia’s House, Naomi House and Jacksplace do amazing work supporting local children and families in our community and it was so rewarding to be able to suport them and their amazing work. This year we hope to be able to collect even more. Anyone who wants to donate a cholocate egg to can bring it into any of our leisure centres by Thursday 6 April 2023 in time for the Easter weekend.”

Julia’s House is a children’s hospice located in Corfe Mullen, Dorset, providing vital respite care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families, at the hospice, in the family home or out and about in the local community.
