Sponsors sought for Littledown’s popular Family Fun Day

This summer, local businesses are invited to get behind one of Bournemouth’s most popular free-to-attend community events as an event sponsor.

Now in its 10th year, Bournemouth’s Littledown Family Fun Day is taking place on Sunday 27 July 2025. The main event takes place in Littledown’s Park. Activities and displays also take place inside Littledown Centre.

There are commercial stalls, vendors, and attractions including a 300m inflatable obstacle course (Tuff Nutterz), a 360 science dome, a bubble show, Charles Cole’s Family Fun Fair, and more than 50 costumed characters walking around the parkland (Minky Moos and Little Gizmos). Additional highlights include the Bournemouth Bug Show, a silent disco, birds of prey displays, free kids’ music sessions (courtesy of Absolute Music), an urban bike show, and much more.

The event attracts in the region of 12,000 visitors every year (subject to weather).

Littledown Family Fun Day sponsors include Greatest Hits Radio, Absolute Music, Shadow Design, Snows Toyota, and Raring2Go.

Available sponsorship packages start from £400, with benefits including:

  • Large audience reach – an estimated 100,000 people have attended Littledown’s Family Fun Day events across the last decade. Attendees include families, vendors, local businesses, and more
  • Brand exposure opportunities – prominent branding in event marketing including logos, banners, and mentions in flyers, social media channels, BH Live websites and press releases
  • Lead generation potential – opportunities to collect customer information
  • Positive brand association – aligning with an event that reflects positive community values and images

Littledown Family Fun Day is organised and delivered by registered charity BH Live as part of its community engagement programme.

On behalf of BH Live, Natalie McMullen, Sales, Event & Booking Manager at Littledown, said;

“The Littledown Family Fun Day is in its tenth year and it’s a privilege to be able to bring together so many great things for people to see and do. Of course, we couldn’t do it without the amazing support of all involved; from our sponsors, stallholders and activity providers, to all those who come along and take part. If there are any local businesses who would like to be involved in this year’s event as a sponsor, please get in touch.”
