Registered charity and leisure operator BH Live has unveiled a state-of-the-art upgrade to the fitness facilities at BH Live Active Queen’s Park in Bournemouth.
The introduction of EGYM, a smart fitness hub and strength-based exercise circuit, is an exciting step forward for the centre, making workouts even more more personalised to support people’s individual activity goals and fitness journey.
This major investment is part of BH Live’s ongoing pledge to help more people in the community enjoy regular activity for its physical and mental health benefits.
Its new EGYM circuit features intelligent, fully automated strength machines that adapt to each user’s individual fitness level. Whether they are new to the gym or a seasoned pro, EGYM offers a motivating and easy-to-follow workout experience that’s safe, efficient, and tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
Before starting, everyone will need to complete an EGYM Fitness Hub assessment, which measures strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health, and body composition. This data is used to generate a personal ‘Bio Age’ – a unique reflection of their overall fitness level.
Once set up, the system automatically adjusts each piece of fitness equipment to each individual’s settings, guiding them through every workout. The machine knows who they are and what they need to do. It is fitness made smarter – with less guesswork and more focus on continual progress.
EGYM at BH Live Active, Queen’s Park is suitable for anyone aged 14 and over and sessions are included in selected BH Live Active memberships.
It is also available on a pay-as-you-go basis so non-members can use it too.
BH Live Active, Queen’s Park is managed by registered charity and social enterprise BH Live.
