New activities to increase physical activity in families

In a bid to tackle inactivity and bring people together, BH Live has created its best yet bundle of family activities to encourage more people to get, and stay, more active together.

When it comes to finding the motivation to do something together, that everyone likes doing, we know one size doesn’t fit all, explains Mike Lyons, BH Live’s Director of Sport and Leisure. “And often if one member of the family is going to the gym or a class, they are often leaving other family members at home. We wanted to offer something totally different that whole family could regularly do and enjoy together, which ultimately is key to creating good habits for life.

“Because we do so much more than ever before, we can also include lots of other activities like ice and roller skating at Bournemouth International Centre, a family pass for a session on our high ropes adventure attraction, family classes such as yoga and circuits, trampolining, football and unlimited wet and wacky pool fun sessions across multiple venues. By creating one bundle, not only does it enable us to offer more, it has a much wider appeal to all ages – which is more likely to encourage participation and is ultimately better on the pocket too.”
