We are pleased to start reopening some of our leisure centres and facilities in Bournemouth, Poole and Portsmouth from Saturday 25 July 2020.
We’ve introduced some temporary service changes to keep customers, and our employees, safe – and we are asking our customers to work with us, support us and to play their part in helping us get back to normal service as soon as possible.
These changes have been adopted by the whole leisure sector and reflect the necessary measures we have taken to enable our customers to keep active.
The following centres, services and areas will be open initially and we’ve made some essential changes to comply with Government guidance. In our first phase of reopening we are also operating at reduced capacity so we can comply with social distancing;
- Bournemouth & Poole – Littledown, Pelhams, Stokewood, Corfe Mullen
- Portsmouth – Mountbatten and Pyramids
- Gym – a session booking will be required
- Group exercise classes – a temporary timetable will be running
- Car parks
- Toilets
We are working towards reopening additional centres and services, including swimming pools, cafés, soft play and indoor sports as soon as possible.
We also understand that some people may not be ready to return to public spaces just yet – and we have written to our members to let them know how to continue freezing their membership for now.
