Largest Christmas market returns for third year

One of the region’s largest indoor Christmas markets returns to Littledown Centre in Bournemouth next month.

The popular event takes place on Sunday 25 November 2018 between 11am-4pm.

More than 150 stalls will be showcasing Christmas gifts and seasonal merchandise including hand-crafted jewellery, fused glass, local preserves, chutneys, award-winning fudge, seasonal cakes, cheeses and more. Christmas decorations, cards, wrapping paper, wreaths, food and hampers will also be available to buy.

Local artists and photographers will be displaying their work and popular local retailers include The Isle of Wight Garlic FarmHappily Ever Afters artisan cheeses, Dorset Ginger, Jurassic Cottage Foods, Pieroth Wines and Drop the Anchor Brewery.

There’s plenty of activities for children too including a visit from Father Christmas, face painting, entertainment from Jules the Entertainer and a stilt walking Snow Queen.

Sing People Sing, a multi award-winning, dynamic, contemporary choir will be performing Christmas carols. There will also be a special performance from Bournemouth Pavilion’s Youth Theatre.

“Our indoor Christmas market is hugely popular and we are thrilled to be attracting so many fantastic local retailers and producers for the third year running,” says Colette Kiernander, BH Live’s Divisional General Manager.

Admission is £1 per adult and 50 pence for children aged between 6-15. Children aged five and under can enter for free.
