More than 1,600 delegates recently assembled at Bournemouth International Centre for a weekend of keynote speeches, panel discussions, social events, and learning and development opportunities. focusing on pressing environmental and social issues.
Members and delegates came together to discuss policies on climate action, social justice, and environmental initiatives. Speeches were led by Leader, Zack Polanski; Deputy Leader, Mothin Ali; and Deputy Leader, Rachel Millward, addressing climate change, sustainable development, and strengthening local communities.
The Green Party of England and Wales consists of over 200 Local Green Parties. Policy creation, organisation and amendment is a member-led process. The conference saw members propose and discuss ideas for its motions at the Agenda Forum.
The autumn conference is an important annual opportunity for delegates to contribute to the party’s ongoing policy development and public engagement.
