Free to attend fitness classes kickstart the new year

This January (2024), local residents in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are invited to kickstart their new year at one of several free-to-attend Les Mills™ exercise classes at Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).

Taking place on Saturday 6 January 2024, the BH Live Active team is hosting a day packed full of bumper-to-bumper Les Mills™ exercise classes.

From the heart-pumping intensity of BodyPump™ and GRIT™ to the energetic fusion of BodyJam™ vs Les Mills Dance™, Les Mills Core™, Les Mills Shapes™, BodyCombat™, there is something for every level of fitness, from beginner to experienced class goer.

Classes are for people aged 14+ except BodyPump and GRIT which are for people aged 16+.

Booking is essential as capacity is limited.

For attendees going to a class, parking in Bournemouth International Centre’s multistorey car park is also free – spaces are available on a first come first served basis and parking tickets must be validated at the event.

Rob Cunningham, BH Live’s Associate Director for Leisure said,
“This is one of the most anticipated events in our calendar. It is such an energetic way to kick off 2024. Our amazing instructors get to showcase our class programme, share their impressive talents and more importantly inspire more people to be regularly active for better health and wellbeing. The energy everyone brings to this event is always so motivating – it’s a real party atmosphere.”

All Les Mills™ classes showcased at this event run at BH Live Active leisure centres across the BCP region as part of their weekly class timetable.

The event is supported by Active Therapy South who will be there to provide free advice and treatments on the day.
