Family fun days to return this summer

Our bumper family fun weekend returns to Bournemouth in July, providing families and visitors with a jumbo weekend of free entertainment and activities to look forward to.

On Saturday 28 July 2018 the Bumper Family Fun Weekend kicks off beside the seaside at Bournemouth Pavilion. Hosted on the theatre’s outdoor terrace, it promises a fun-filled day for all the family.

“The Bournemouth Pavilion Family Fun Day will entertain both the little and big kids among us, says event organiser Paul Griffiths.

“With lots of free activities for local families and visitors alike. I’m particularly looking forward to a great day on the terrace”.

There will be plenty for little ones to get involved with, from dance and drama workshops led by Pavilion Dance South West and Pavilion Youth Theatre to Terrace Tales – an interactive storytelling performance with our nautical storytellers Pirate Polly, Mermaid Molly and Scuba Stan.

A children’s entertainer and inflatable pirateship will be there for children to play on. And a variety of stalls offering an array of things to buy and see will be on display, including face painting and arts and crafts.

Live music will be playing throughout the day with tasty food and refreshments served from the Terrace Café. The Bournemouth Pavilion Family Fun Day will be bursting with lots of great things to see and do.

On Sunday 29 July 2018 the fun continues at Littledown Park. Event organiser, Natalie McMullen  adds;
