Oh yes, they are! Fairfield Halls in Croydon is rolling out the red carpet (or should that be the magic carpet?) as they celebrate not one, but TWO fantastic nominations at this year’s prestigious UK Pantomime Association Awards!
A sparkling gem in Croydon’s festive crown, Fairfield Halls’ pantomimes are a much-loved tradition, welcoming thousands of families to experience the magic of live theatre.
Last year’s spectacular production of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, brought to life by the phenomenal team at UK Productions Ltd, had audiences spellbound with its dazzling choreography, show-stopping songs, and sensational performances.
Now, the show’s leading stars are in the spotlight! The radiant Mia Overfield, who stole hearts as Snow White, has been nominated for Best Principal Lead, while the charming Callum Connolly, whose portrayal of The Prince was nothing short of enchanting, is up for Best Secondary Lead. Bravo!
Adding to the excitement, UK Productions Ltd – one of the UK’s most revered pantomime producers – has scooped multiple nominations, proving once again that their productions bring the perfect mix of magic, mayhem, and mirth to the stage! From the heigh-ho energy of the cast to the Mirror, mirror on the wall-worthy production values, this is truly an award-worthy team!
The UK Pantomime Association, founded in 2021, is dedicated to celebrating and preserving this treasured art form, and its annual awards shine a well-deserved spotlight on the tireless work of casts, creatives, and production teams nationwide. The winners of The Pantomime Awards 2025 will be unveiled next month at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking – so keep your fingers crossed and your glass slippers polished!
On behalf of BH Live, Steve Turner, Director of Venues, shared;
“Pantomime is a much loved festive tradition – and the first introduction to the world of theatre for many young people. It’s fantastic that Mia Overfield, Callum Connolly, and UK Productions Ltd have been recognised for their contribution in keeping this vibrant and seasonal art form alive. We are counting the days until Beauty & the Beast takes centre stage at Fairfield Halls’ later this year.”
Speaking about the nominations, Martin Dodd, Producer at UK Productions Ltd, added:
“We are absolutely thrilled to receive these nominations – it’s a true testament to the passion and hard work of everyone involved. From the show-stopping direction, music and choreography to the magnificent performances, our productions aim to bring joy and wonder to audiences of all ages. We are honoured to be recognised among the best in the industry and look forward to celebrating with our fellow nominees!
And the fairy-tale magic doesn’t stop there! Fairfield Halls’ next enchanting panto, Beauty & the Beast, will take centre stage from 12 December 2025 to 4 January 2026. With spectacular sets, sensational performances, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, it promises to be a beast of a show – so don’t miss out! Tickets are on sale now at fairfield.co.uk.
Curtain up, Croydon panto season is well and truly in full swing!
