Bournemouth Pavilion’s South Terrace and Terrace Bistro returns this spring

With spring just around the corner, visitors are invited to eat, drink, and relax at Bournemouth Pavilion’s al fresco South Terrace and on-site Terrace Bistro.

These are planned to reopen for the summer season from Thursday 28 March 2024.

Overlooking Bournemouth Gardens close to Bournemouth’s busy seafront, the South Terrace (situated overlooking pier approach and the lower gardens), sees the return of pop-up food stalls and bars serving ice creams, slush puppies, and hot and cold drinks – perfect for the warmer days. Hot food including stone-baked pizzas and hand-battered fish and chips will also be available alongside a fully licensed bar serving spirits, mixers, cocktails as well as beers and ciders.

Brand new summertime menus are launching at The Terrace Bistro at Bournemouth Pavilion for a relaxed indoor or al fresco dining experience. Incorporating local ingredients, the menu will include fresh meals including salads, sharers, sides, kids’ meals as well as burgers, hand-battered fish and chips, and Barrel & Stone stone-baked pizzas.

As well as new menus, both spaces have also received a revamp with colourful new tables, chairs, planters, and outdoor seating made from sustainable sources.

Mathijs PolBH Live’s Head of Hospitality, said;

“Summer is around the corner and we can’t wait! We wanted to create a warm and welcoming space where everyone – from students to families – can relax and enjoy their surroundings with some delicious food and drink. We are so lucky to be situated in Bournemouth’s beautiful gardens just a stone’s throw away from the stunning beach.”
