BH Live delivering the region’s best nights out

The 2018 Bournemouth and Poole Tourism Awards (BAPTAs) semi-finalists have been revealed and BH Live recognised for providing some of the region’s best nights out.

There are 19 categories this year and the BAPTAs Best Night Out Award is sponsored by Eskimo Epos.

BH Live has been shortlisted in recognition of the hundreds of best night’s out it delivers to over half a million customers each year at venues including Bournemouth International Centre and Bournemouth Pavilion.

Michelle Lessig, Regional Client Manager at Berendsen, Headline Sponsor of the BAPTAs, said: “We are proud to be associated with the awards, the standard of entries has been really high and impressive. We’ve had entries from all across the region including Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Ferndown, Wimborne, Wareham and Swanage.”

“The awards raise the profile of tourism in Dorset across the BH post code area and that is vital for the delivery of the overall visitor experience. Congratulations to all of the semi-finalists.”

Jackie Phillipson, Founder of ROUTEpr who manages and created the BAPTAs said: “ The level of enthusiasm and excitement across the entrants, sponsors and partners has been inspiring.  The level of effort the entrants have given to their applications, as well as providing the judges with valuable evidence, demonstrates their business growth and development and how they add value and contribute to the tourism industry.”

“The tourism awards are vital in recognising and celebrating the hard work and dedication that goes into creating this award-winning destination, and they’re also a great opportunity to network and to learn from other businesses.”

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner ceremony on 15 March 2018 at The Lighthouse in Poole.
