Step into spring with seasonal events at Littledown

As well as being a hub for swimming, classes, gym and sports, Littledown Centre and its surrounding parkland is also popular for community, sporting and social events.

This spring, residents and visitors can look forward to a diverse programme of events in the build-up to Easter. From live music nights, sporting events, discos, exhibitions, and much more, there’s plenty to see and do.

Littledown’s event programme has been created to bring people together, provide more leisure and entertainment opportunities, and celebrate and raise awareness of local businesses, activities, and services.

Littledown also frequently hosts private events, parties, clubs and sporting competitions including swimming galas, discos, sports events and dance tournaments.

Littledown Centre is operated by BH Live in partnership with BCP Council. BH Live is a registered charity and social enterprise, committed to community health and wellbeing.

On behalf of BH Live, Shelley Lincoln, General Manager at Littledown, shared;

“We’re excited to welcome another vibrant programme of events at Littledown this spring. Our aim is always to create opportunities for people of all ages to come together, try something new, and enjoy everything our centre and parkland have to offer. From live music and family activities to sports events and exhibitions, there truly is something for everyone.

“With the support of local partners, clubs and businesses, we’re proud to continue to bring these events to life to support the health and wellbeing of our community.”

Bournemouth’s premier bug and invert show returns to Littledown for 2026!

The Bournemouth Bug Show was formed in 2023 when a group of invert and reptile lovers came together to meet and talk about everything bug related.

Having this common interest quickly helped those attending realise they had found their tribe. Feeling connected to others is an important part of human nature and we believe that the entomology community provides a safe space for real human connection.
