Bournemouth Pavilion is ringing in the new year with one last chance to enjoy fairy‑tale sparkle as its beloved pantomime, Cinderella, enters its last weekend of performances.
After a hugely successful festive run, the production is preparing to bid this amazing cast farewell, giving families across Dorset one final opportunity to enjoy the laughter, mischief, and magic that have made Cinderella a standout hit of the season.
With the school holidays winding down and the new year beginning, the Pavilion is inviting audiences to squeeze in one more joyful outing before everyday routines return. From outrageous comedy to glittering costumes and heart‑warming moments, Cinderella promises a feel‑good escape perfect for the first days of January.
The production has drawn praise for its lively cast, spectacular staging, and classic panto charm, all of which will take their final bow this weekend.
Written by acclaimed pantomime master Jon Monie and produced by UK Productions, this year’s Cinderella brings the classic rags‑to‑riches tale to life with humour, heart, and spectacular staging.
The cast continues to receive special praise from school and group leaders, with Melanie Walters (Gavin & Stacey, BBC) enchanting audiences as the Fairy Godmother, Olivia Birchenough (Channel 5’s Milkshake!) shining as Cinderella, and Noel Brodie’s lovable ‘Buttons’ proving a firm favourite with younger audiences. Comedy duo Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph – The Fabulous Sisters – have also been applauded for their quick wit and scene‑stealing antics.
Group rates are still available for parties of 10+, 20+, and 30+, with concessions also available for under‑16s on selected performances.
From the transformation scene to the final bow, Cinderella continues to deliver a magical, memorable experience for pupils, teachers, families, and community groups alike.
Schools and groups can also book now for next year’s pantomime, Aladdin, with dedicated school performances and group rates available. A limited number of funded tickets for pupils on low income are also available. Early enquiries are encouraged to secure preferred dates.
